About Us

Welcome to the Waukesha Creative Arts League (WCAL), a vibrant community of artists and art enthusiasts dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration, and artistic expression. Established in 1975 as a nonprofit organization, our mission is to provide a supportive environment for local artists to grow, share their work, and connect with others who appreciate the power of art.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, from March through November, and take place from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church. Each session begins with a brief introduction, followed by the program presentation, and concludes with a discussion of the challenges.

Exhibits

Each year, we are proud to sponsor three dynamic art exhibits, showcasing the talent and diversity of our members. These exhibits offer a platform for artists to display their work to the public, helping to foster a greater appreciation for the arts in our community.

Challenges

Each month, a challenge prompt is presented to the group. The goal of the challenge is to encourage participants to push their creative boundaries by incorporating new techniques or elements into their artwork that they may not have previously explored.
